Roy's Nook - Chapter 1

 Roy needed a place. A hiding place. Away from the biggest bully in school, Chanakya. He ran to a bathroom stall. In sometime a figure appeared. A tall figure. "Please don't hurt me!", Roy whimpered. "I won't! If you give me 9 rupees", barked Chanakya. Roy gave him 10 paisa. "Is that all?", scoffed Chanakya. "Yes", said Roy. "My mother gives me more than that!", said Chanakya. "When I get more lunch money, I shall pay you more", said Roy.

Roy's Nook - Chapter 2

 At home, Roy trudged to bed. "Roy, you seem to get thinner and thinner", said his mother. Roy sighed and told her the whole story. "I shall report this to the school", said his mother indignantly. "It is not use", said Roy. "His parents have stopped him from being expelled 2 times!!" His mother said "Don't worry. I will try my best to reason with the principal." Roy sighed again. OK,ma. He slowly closed his eyes and went to sleep.

Roy's nook - Chapter 3

 When Roy got up for school, he remembered the Chanakya incident and hoped that his mother would take care of the situation. His mother gave him a wink as she gave him the lunch money. Roy did not have time to think about it because he was late for the bus. He ran to school as fast as he could and made it just in time. When break time came, instead of playing recess Roy went looking for his nook. He frantically searched around the school. But when he turned around a corner,Chanakya was there. Chanakya said"Give me the rest of your money!"Roy took out his money. HE saw four rupees. Mother had given him twice as much money! Chanakya unknowingly took half the money. Roy was filled with joy. He did not need a nook. He needed a plan!

Hello! I am Vedant, but you can call me Ved. I have a mother and a father(obviously). I am not an only child. I have a brother named Siddhant(who causes a lot of trouble). A New House(or not)

I have not written in a long time but today I have decided to write as I am very excited. The reason=Our new house! We are buying a new house in Bangalore and it is the biggest house I have ever seen in real life. It has 2 living rooms, 4 or 5 bedrooms and, to put the cherry on the cake, it even has a large swimming pool and a small one, divided by a bridge. The community even has my favorite-a football pitch! We decided to see it in real life, so my dad went to check it out. It was really big! In fact, it was the biggest house in the community. So, we decided to buy it. Just then, we realized that not all the documents were there for the house to be sold! We found out that land did not really belong to the makers of the community.  And so, we had to abandon the idea of living in the house. However, during our search for the house, we had found out many other good communities, even though the house we liked was the best. So we chose another house and fingers crossed nothing go...

Spelling Bee

Today I had a spellingbee and I won! Details:- I had practiced for almost a week studying hard words. Since my mother practiced with me, it was kind of fun. Plus, I did not get to do my work! But the bad news is that I have a lot of work on the weekends and no one likes work on the weekends. Now, back to the spellbee. So when the time came, we started with the jungle book round. I was lucky, because I got the easiest word- blinking. Then we went to the movie round, which I think was hard for some of the particapants. I remeber one of my opponents being eliminated in that round. Next we went to jumble round. This was the trickiest. In 60 sconds we had to spell a jumbled word. Since there were two of us in the round: me and my opponent, it didn't take long. Neither of us got it correct so we moved to the music round. I was first. I spelled symphony correct. My opponent in the final round spelt rehearsal like this- reahersal. So I won and I felt great, because I never won a spellbee...
