A New House(or not)

I have not written in a long time but today I have decided to write as I am very excited. The reason=Our new house! We are buying a new house in Bangalore and it is the biggest house I have ever seen in real life. It has 2 living rooms, 4 or 5 bedrooms and, to put the cherry on the cake, it even has a large swimming pool and a small one, divided by a bridge. The community even has my favorite-a football pitch! We decided to see it in real life, so my dad went to check it out. It was really big! In fact, it was the biggest house in the community. So, we decided to buy it. Just then, we realized that not all the documents were there for the house to be sold! We found out that land did not really belong to the makers of the community.  And so, we had to abandon the idea of living in the house. However, during our search for the house, we had found out many other good communities, even though the house we liked was the best. So we chose another house and fingers crossed nothing go...

Breaking news

I have decided to put quotes on my blog. That is why I’m going to add a new section. For example I shall send daily quotes from leaders such as Elon musk and Albert Einstein etc.I am now going to tell you four quotes I have made with help from my father. “Your life really starts when you are born.” “Don’t follow the crowd. Be a path-builder.” “Don’t celebrate the milestones. Just enjoy the process.” “Be a leader.” And here is a quote in code riddle that I will put every day. You have to unscramble the jumbled words to form the quote. Oh, and sometime the quote will come in codes to! I will reveal every quote when I show a new one! Here is the quote: Rouy dedes rea rouy msonuments. Enjoy solving!

The leaving

I left from Bangalore yesterday so here are the details! I got up early and quickly got ready. A very funny coincidence was that I wore the same dress as I had worn when I had come to Bangalore about three months ago! I went on the flashy BMW and it took only two minutes to reach the airport. From there it took a very, very, very long time to wrap the suitcases and send them on the machine. We took the escalator to the 1st floor(and the tallest floor) of the airport. Then I  and my father went in a line and my mother and my brother went in the other one. Then we put all of our stuff in a machine and went through the metal detector. Then we looked at the shops and then went to the lounge. There I had some mini sausages, a waffle and a juice box. Then after lots of walking and window-shopping, we reached a line for checking passports.it took about an hour until we went through the whole line and checked our passports. Next, we went into the waiting area where we waited for a lo...

Country shift

Ok, I know I have not responded for a long time, but I went to my grandparents house and was very busy! And get this: the house is in Bangalore, India! Yes, I went to a whole other country despite the Covid-19 pandemic. This is a detailed explanation of how I reached Bangalore and my daily activities there. Back in Dubai, we had to take a COVID test to make sure we were ok to go on the flight  Unsurprisingly, we were tested negative. After that we packed and booked and packed and booked and packed and booked... Finally, it was time to go to the airport! We went at midnight, yes that’s right, midnight! Two BMW cars picked us up and dropped us of at the airport. How luxurious those cars were, I cannot explain. When we reached the airport, we went to the baggage counter and put all of the bags in except me  and my mother’s computer bag. Then, we went to the metal detector and went through.  After that, we went to the shops and just browsed what they were having. Then, ...

Weekend Visits

Today we went to see a villa because we are planning to change house. We went to the Arabian ranches and checked an occupied house. Since it was occupied, we saw a cat(which I was a bit afraid of) and some children. My mother and father were in a dilemma since the previous house we saw was also as good as this one. After we saw the house, we came home to rest for a while. Then, we went to an outside restaurant wich was in a small forest. Now, you might have thought that was exciting, but you could not explore the jungle bit of the retaurant. The most amazing thing I saw was trees from bangalore because Dubai has a desert climate and India has a tropical climate. The only thing I was not happy about was the flies and the mosquitos. There also was a big red moth! When we finished eating I thought I couldn't eat all of my dinner. And I was right! Thank you for reading this blog and please read more!

Spelling Bee

Today I had a spellingbee and I won! Details:- I had practiced for almost a week studying hard words. Since my mother practiced with me, it was kind of fun. Plus, I did not get to do my work! But the bad news is that I have a lot of work on the weekends and no one likes work on the weekends. Now, back to the spellbee. So when the time came, we started with the jungle book round. I was lucky, because I got the easiest word- blinking. Then we went to the movie round, which I think was hard for some of the particapants. I remeber one of my opponents being eliminated in that round. Next we went to jumble round. This was the trickiest. In 60 sconds we had to spell a jumbled word. Since there were two of us in the round: me and my opponent, it didn't take long. Neither of us got it correct so we moved to the music round. I was first. I spelled symphony correct. My opponent in the final round spelt rehearsal like this- reahersal. So I won and I felt great, because I never won a spellbee...

Introduction

Hello! I am Vedant, but you can call me Ved. I have a mother and a father(obviously). I am not an only child. I have a brother named Siddhant(who causes a lot of trouble). For some reason, he LOVES to chew things. I am great at spelling. I have been practicing lately for a spelling bee. Due to Covid, It is only a class spelling bee so it is not that special. Because it is individual I might have a chance at winning this, since I have had some bad partners in ALL my spelling bees. I also have a grand father and a grandmother. My grandfather is a blogger, just like me. My grandmother is a former teacher and I enjoy it when she teaches me. I love the stories my grandmother and my grandfather. I have another set of grandparents that are also very nice. I practise origami and then play with my creations. My brother(who you might remember from sentence 2) calls me baba and calls my father papa and he calls my mother(this bit is funny)oi! I thank you for reading my 1st blog and please read ...
